Pratima Goodfellow

Pratima Goodfellow is a highly experienced Specialist Gastroenterology Dietitian with over 20 years of clinical experience. A registered dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council and a long-standing member of the British Dietetic Association, she combines deep clinical knowledge with a warm, practical approach to helping clients improve their digestive health and overall wellbeing. Pratima specialises in conditions such as IBS, IBD, coeliac disease, bile acid malabsorption, reflux, diverticular disease, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency and functional gut disorders. Her advanced training includes Monash-certified low FODMAP expertise, behaviour change and a postgraduate qualification in clinical dietetics. She has worked extensively across the NHS, most recently as a Specialist Gastroenterology Dietitian and Interim Head of Dietetics, and she brings additional experience from private practice in both the UK and Hong Kong.

Alongside her clinical work, Pratima has contributed her gastroenterology expertise to digital health innovation, developing evidence-based content and care pathways for a digestive health app. She is also an experienced educator, supervising dietetic students and supporting the next generation of dietitians.

Pratima is passionate about empowering people to understand their gut, make sustainable dietary changes, and feel confident in managing their symptoms to improve their quality of life. Her approach is evidence-based, personalised, and grounded in compassionate, collaborative care.

Availability

Pratima Goodfellow offers online appointments on Mondays 12pm-2pm and Fridays 9am-11am.
