For over 20 years, I struggled with severe anxiety and an unhealthy relationship with food. My stomach was constantly bloated, unsettled, and uncomfortable, but I assumed that was just how things were for me. It wasn’t until a visit to my GP that I began to understand the connection between my gut issues and anxiety – my digestive system was suffering as a result of long-term stress.

That realisation led me to explore gut health more seriously. I came across Dr. Megan Rossi on Instagram and loved her practical, down-to-earth advice. I bought her book and started making small but meaningful changes – eating more fresh whole foods, increasing my fibre intake, drinking more water, and using her food diary template to track symptoms. I also began practicing mindful breathing and actively worked on reframing anxious thoughts with a more positive mindset.

The transformation has been incredible. My stomach is now so much calmer and more comfortable, and I feel happier, more relaxed, and more confident in my body. My skin has improved, I genuinely enjoy food again, and I’ve discovered a love for healthy meals – nuts and seeds are my new favourites! Focusing on my gut has completely changed how I feel, inside and out.
