Alice Twomey

Alice Twomey is a registered specialist gastroenterology dietitian, having completed a BSc in Nutritional Sciences and an MSc in Dietetics at King’s College London.

For the last six years Alice has worked in a large London teaching hospital specialising in gastroenterology. She has worked in both the acute and outpatient setting caring for those with inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and other disorders of gut brain interaction, coeliac disease, pelvic floor dysfunction and orofacial granulomatosis.

Through Alice’s work with a multi-disciplinary team, she has become passionate about providing well rounded care for those living with gastrointestinal disorders. She acknowledges the importance of viewing the whole individual, and implementing a holistic approach. Food related quality of life is a central factor which Alice strives to improve with clients.

Alice is FODMAP trained with King’s College London. She is focused on evidence based and research backed approaches to managing gut conditions. She has contributed to literature in the field, and works as part of a forward thinking and research focused team.
