I came across Dr Megan Rossi on Facebook and, as I’m interested in nutrition, I was intrigued by her approach to gut health so decided to follow her and keep up to date with her latest research. It was shortly after that I came across her Bloating Masterclass.

I had a full hysterectomy when I was 35, which can exacerbate symptoms, but I’ve had bloating problems my whole life. Despite being an average dress size, I sometimes looked about 7 months pregnant, which was very disheartening and upsetting and I always wore baggy clothes to feel comfortable. When I was struggling with bloating I didn’t want to wear ‘nice’ clothes because it felt like people were always looking at my huge tummy.

When I first decided to do something about it, I got fully checked out by a specialist with a colonoscopy and gastroscopy to make sure there was no underlying medical condition. After all their tests came back negative I tried to tackle my bloating by cutting out things from my diet. I started by eliminating gluten/wheat but that didn’t make a difference so then I cut out dairy, but again, there was no improvement in my symptoms. 

After trying and failing to tackle this alone I wasn’t sure what my next step should be, so when I saw Dr Rossi’s Bloating Masterclass advertised I jumped at the chance to learn from an expert about how I could improve my symptoms. The training was easy to follow and very informative, as were all the resources available via the portal – I even printed out the handouts so that I could cut down my screen time and read them on the sofa!

I would 100% recommend the masterclass to anyone suffering from bloating as the overall experience has been amazing. I went through the debloating guide and figured out which triggers could be affecting me from what I had noticed in my body. Based on this, I began eliminating the dietary components that I thought were affecting me but I also made a few changes to my dietary habits as Dr Rossi advised. I discovered that the issue for me is a combination of factors that I can manage by adapting how I eat and avoiding certain foods in large quantities, plus I realised that prebiotic supplements were making things worse!

Since taking the Bloating Masterclass, not only has my bloating improved immensely, but I also have a much healthier diet as well. I understand my dietary triggers and, if I can’t avoid them (or if I just don’t want to that day!) I can at least prepare for some bloating and avoid any nasty surprises. Overall I feel so much better physically and emotionally and I’m incredibly grateful to Dr Rossi for sharing her expertise and guiding me through this issue that had troubled me my whole life.
